Reservations are not required, but I recommend that you do make a reservation. This is a small restaurant & it can look very empty when you leave your name, then take a walk, when you walk back in 10 minutes later the restaurant is packed with a line outside.
It is a busy location, I have often wondered why they have not enlarged this restaurant, considering the hotel just had a remodel.
The reason many people go to Benihana is the show, the food is cooked in font of you on a lage hot surface. The chefs are not only knife wizards, but they are also pro's at getting the table pumped up! (I love it when they make the rice like a volcano, or in the shape of Mickey Mouse.)
If there is a birthday person at the table, be prepared the chef will make sure everyone at the table, and in the restaurant knows this! It's a fun place, with great food.
The menu has poultry, beef & seafood selections alot to choose from, with combinations that are very filling, I have had the Yakosaba dinner(vegetarian) and it is very good!
My husband gets The Filet Mignon (Always), I usually get Teriyaki Chicken. All dinners come with soup, green salad (love the dressing), shrimp appetizer, hiabachi vegetables, rice & green tea.
One note if you stay onsite at the Hilton at check-in quite a few times, we have received free dinner, appetizer, free drink or dessert coupons.
