Maybe hipsters never had Cuban food before Cafe Habana? I initially came here because of the hype and the Lenny Kravitz video. You know, the one where he's looking for the girl who works in a cafe? Anyway...I'm not sure what the hoopla about, other than everyone here is very pretty even when they're trying not to look pretty.
Sure, the corn is standout, but you don't have to wait for a table to get that, as they have take out next door. But everything else, like the blackened chicken or the burritos seems no different than what you could get anywhere else. It's not the worst Cuban food I've ever had, but it's not the best either.
