The guy who runs Forever After Books is a crotchety old dude who is not happy about the state of the Haight. All he can do (all any of us can do) is keep it real, in his case by being crotchety and running a crazy used bookstore. One must move carefully to maneuver through the narrow aisles, so as not to knock over the chaotically arranged piles of merchandise. If you love books, you can spend hours in here taking it all in. A lovely place for an interlude of bookish treasure hunting.
