You can't miss it: a little yellow house with pink flamingos in the front yard in Old Middletown. Pull into the driveway...parking's in the rear. Parking is the worst part about this charming restaurant. The parking lot is small, gravel, and hard to get in and out of. It's worth the trouble, though. The restaurant has eccentric country decor in pinks and yellows and hearty portions of home-style soups, salads (they have a homemade ranch dressing that's delicious), sandwiches (egg salad is my personal favorite), and other delights. Make sure you save room for dessert though. In a glass case by the register there is a mouth-watering assortment of cakes and dessert bars that are to-die-for! Prices are very reasonable on all menu items as well, so you can afford to come back often! Bring the kids...there are several kid friendly offerings on the menu, including PB&J.
