It is ridiculous of course to call Waukegan undiscovered. After all, the house I am living in on Genesee St. was built in 1865 so people have known about Waukegan for a long time.
What I mean is this: I feel like an artist who has moved to a cool new neighborhood ahead of the throngs.
Waukegan is beautiful; rolling hills and ravines, right on the North shore of lake Michigan, great old houses and other spaces.
Right now, Waukegan is a low income community that has been ignored by the other-directed masses.
Check it out artists, before the well-off people move here and raise the property values through the roof.
