I am a person who HATES to exercise and have never done a regular exercise program. Even after my first daughter was born in 2004, I still had no motivation to exercise. But, now I had all of this extra baby weight that was not going away on its own. So, I looked around for an exercise program I could try and bring my baby with me - I was so lucky to find Baby Boot Camp. Baby Boot Camp is a workout program you do with your baby in his/her stroller. The class is taught by certified instructors and it involves a combination of cardio, strength training with tension bands, and working our your abs, butt, hips and all of your problem spots. I began the program in July and I did the class at Myrtle Edwards Park downtown - there were a few other outdoor locations but that was the closest to my house. Due to the weather, we are moving indoors to Seattle Center this week, and I believe classes will be starting at indoor locations at Swedish Hospital and in Capitol Hill in the near future. This program has been so wonderful for me - I can bring my baby, I have made new friends, and I do not hate to exercise anymore.
