I was trying to decide whether or not I wanted to try out this drop off daycare. I took my kids there for a birthday party and was shocked to see how many kids were running around, all from 6 years down to just waddling. I was there to watch my two kids but was shocked to see how many kids with name stickers on them asked for my help, whether it was getting drinks out of the fountain or putting on the dress up clothes.
I was also discomforted by their lack of safety. As I was helping one of my kids put his boots on, my other grabbed a juice off the table and proceed to run past a "supervisor" with a straw in his mouth. He's 2! What if he would have tripped?! Regardless if he is part of the party or not, they are still responsible for the safety of EVERYONE!
I will not ever take my kids back there, even if it is for a birthday party My kids seemed to enjoy it, but I was also there with them. I felt so bad for the little "waddler" who just wandered around crying. No sympathy at all. At least sit down and play with her - maybe that would take her mind off missing mom/dad.
