I live in Keizer and have for most of my life, I usually look forward to supporting a community business but not one that doesn't supports the customer.
I understand in business that in order to make money you need to sell your product and often lie by omission, but when a business man straight out lies to your face about a service they did or a product they sell that crosses the line.
I own a guitar with a floyd rose locking mechanism system it was not set correctly so i took it into Uptown music to see what there "specialist" could do. The service cost me 70$ and my guitar a week at the store. ( I understand a small business can get overwhelmed and in order to make sure the job gets done right time is needed to make sure the service is done well and correctly) I got my guitar back and about a week later i noticed it kept going flat no matter how much i tuned it. I dealt with it for about two months before i said to myself " i didn't pay them to tune my guitar, i just want this guitar to work properly". I went in and told them what the problem " the tension was not set right and i'm having the same problem that i had before i paid the 70$ to fix it" and they immediately started making excuses i was a little put off and surprised by this. They told me what ever they could to not take responsibility they asked me if i have tuned my guitar if i stretched the strings have i replace them more them once, I told them yes, yes and yes. They continued to tell me that the floyd rose doesn't stay in tune. A complete lie anyone with computer access can figure that out. They are know to be the best bridge systems to help keep a tune. But that wasn't my problem the tension was not set correctly which is the job i paid them to do. I asked them how to do it so i could attempt to do it myself i was told i have to tighten this, loosen that, lubricate this, as to make it appear impossible. I went on the internet and learned it was a simple procedure and fixed it myself in about an 1hr.
