I've passed Moonshine many times, but never had a chance to go till now. Their brunch is good, a variety of the usual and some offbeat selections like chorizo and eggs with beans and rice. There's also a selection of burgers on their brunch menu, which runs till 3pm on weekends. And the place was busy at noon on a Sat but not overwhelming, which is welcome when everyone wants to have brunch at the same time!
The service was sometimes slow but overall pretty responsive. The decor was warm and comfortable, overall a great decor. I'll certainly go back to check out the rest of their menu and their bloody mary bar!
And though this place gets its share of trendy folk, it's still comfortable and unassuming.
