I was tired of paying Dish Network so much each month. When I found out about Solid Signal I checked them out. I purchased a 612 receiver from them. Unfortunately the receiver had problems and did not work properly. The hard drive was going out. I telephoned customer service and a replacement was shipped out immediately. I had to purchase the replacement receiver. When Solid Signal received the defective unit a refund was given. The failing hard drive was not the fault of Solid Signal. Meanwhile I received the replacement unit. It has worked perfectly from the first. I connected an external hard drive to the receiver without any problems. It too works great.
Wish I had discovered Solid Signal before I did. I would have replaced my rental receiver from Dish Network much earlier. I highly recommend Solid Signal to you!
