After 7 years of having Campbell and Company service our hvac system, we had to give them the boot. The service tech's are inconsistent on what they "may" find on our 6 month checks. Never the same story, always something new "looking like it needs repaired". Last call the tech came out and started snipping wires in the Air handler and when I asked what caused the 7 year old air handler to go out (literally smelled burning wires) he had NO idea what the cause was. Said we needed a whole new system or if we did repair, he couldn't guarantee the work he would do would actually fix the problem. So we would be out $1400 to "maybe" fix it. We went with a different company and he new exactly the cause and fixed it under $800. He even said he wouldn't charge us if what he did actually didn't fix it. (imagine that, a company that stands behind their work!) And we didn't need to have a NEW system ($8500) that Campbell recommended. I would steer clear of Campbell & Co. Although the Sales Manager is a very nice person; the tech's give them a bad wrap. more
