I am a licensed general contractor who understands what it takes to get it done. I had a main line blockage at my house and, unfortunately, my normal drain guy was on vacation. Like an idiot, I called Mike Diamond plumbing. The ""techs"" that they sent out did not know how to work, did not understand plumbing and were completely unmotivated and ready to leave before they even got there. They burned up my afternoon waiting for them, and then left me with a clogged line as evening rolled in. This would mean emergency service rates, so basically I am screwed, thanks, Mike.\r

This is a bait and switch operation. Don't be fooled by the ""$99 special"", or the pretty uniforms and expensive trucks (there is a rea$on for that!). Except under rare circumstances, the $99 will never apply. The tech's job is to find a reason that it does NOT apply, and then upcharge the job. My understanding is the ""techs"" work on commision, you do the math.\r

This is corporate evil, plain and simple. Their job is to extract as much money from your pocket as they possibly can, NOT take care of your problem. \r
