I go to at least 3-4 estate sales every weekend and Margie Beegle sales are always my favorites. I just read some of the remarks here and frankly I think someone is 'stuffing the ballot box' because I see the same HAPPY people at every sale and I can guarantee you the folks who follow the clearly posted rules do not have any of the issues mentioned in some of these complaints which appear to be works of fiction. \r NO, estate sale workers do NOT tote your purchases to your car... clearly posted & on the website notice. \r \r NO, children 15 & under are NOT allowed on the grounds. Signs are posted all over the website & wkly sale notices. \r \r YES, clients change price tags (that's the LEAST of it, they also break pieces, steal pieces, empty contents of boxes, toss merchandise abt w/no concern for the next customer, tear or otherwise damage paper goods, etc etc). \r \r Bottom line: If you are looking for top quality merchandise @ 50% (& more!) off retail the first day of the sale... and another 50% off the final afternoon of the sale... then get yourself right over to Margie Beegle Sales. Act right and you'll be treated with respect. Behave badly and you may be chastised. Respect deadlines. Several staff have other jobs they're rushing to immediately after the sales. Some staff frequently have other appointments immediately after the sales... so... just because you walked in at 3:45 p.m. for a sale announced to close AT 4 p.m. doesn't mean anyone at the sale will be able to accommodate your request for 'just five more minutes'. \r \r Margie Beegle Sales is responsible for looking after the best interests of the owner of the estate. The success of each sale depends on having rules and insisting those rules be followed. \r \r Now... off my soapbox... I do appreciate the tons of photos posted before each sale so I have at least an idea of what is available. I love the way we're encouraged/allowed to 'make a pile' and have noticed prices are frequently better when I purchase a whole bunch of something. Otherwise, I guess the best thing I like about Beegle sales is the huge variety of merchandise. I often walk in thinking there's not much of interest there for me, but walk out with several huge bags of great stuff. Enjoy estate sales!!!\r more
