Just run! This lady and her staff are crazy abusive to customers. My husband overheard employees at the jewelry table talking about jewelry the companies owner allowed them to just take before it went into a sale for free. IDK but I am pretty sure that is theft. We won't go again! more

These people are horrible to customers and defend themselves by suggesting that yelling at customers for not following their ridiculously self-serving rules and having the temerity to inquire about pricing (she does not price items and many, many things are not covered by her excessive signage). She humiliates and kicks people out of her sales. Please explain how this serves your client. You have only to read her hostile responses to the web sites wise enough to give her enough rope to hang herself to know what she is all about. "These people" is her go-to phrase. She is a very large horror. Her sales are overpriced and everything is dirty. Her staging is nil. She should have long been out of business. more

Horrible Experience 9/22/2019

Horrible experience!!! I went to one of Margie’s sales about 6 months ago. As I was walking around looking, the lady running the cash register told me I had to put my items onto the sold table, so I did. When I finished and went to check out, she had to give me prices for some items that weren’t priced. I thought some of the prices were too high so I told her I wasn’t interested in the item. She responded that because I put it on the Sold table, I had to buy it. I told her that didn’t make sense because she made me put the items on the Sold table. She pointed to one of her many signs that said “items on the sold table must be bought” or something to that degree. She wouldn’t allow me to buy any of the items unless I bought all of them since she insisted that I had committed to buying them when I put them on the sold table. So I bought them because I really wanted one of the items. Fast forward to today. I decided to stop by one more Margie Beegle sales and give them another chance. I really wish I hadn’t. I had a stack of stuff, once again some of it not priced. I intended to carry it around and avoid the sold table, however, as I passed through the room where the lady behind the cash register sat, she told me I had to put my items on the sold table. I responded that I needed prices first. She rudely pointed to a sign that said prices would be given at check out. As I walked towards the sold table, I said that I asked for the prices because the last time she made me buy everything that I had put on the sold table. She responded that I could now get out and leave my items because she would not tolerate liars. I’m not sure what has happened to her in her life to be so rude to people, but whatever it was must have affected her memory, because it wasn’t a lie. Today this company lost a customer, one who loves going to estate sales and one who would have continued to spend money with her had the cashier not been so rude. I saw this in one of the owners responses to the comments “Follow the rules, ask for explanations, you will have a great time like 99.99999999999% of the shoppers...” I did follow the rules and I did ask for explanations/prices...which resulted in me being called a liar. I also saw that the owner commented that they sell out every weekend. This specific sale had at least 50% left with 30 minutes of the sale to go. So you would think she would want to be nice to paying customers. However, right after I was kicked out, another lady was also kicked out for asking about pricing. Following the rules apparently doesn’t get you any where. If you are looking for a company to sell your family’s items, I would suggest looking at other companies. I have never been treated so rudely at any estate sale I’ve been. Not to mention it was completely unnecessary. I will for sure be taking my business elsewhere. This company doesn’t even deserve one star. more

no customer service 9/10/2019

This lady has to be the ugliest person alive with no customer service skills whatsoever. Went to take my mother in law to an estate sale to cheer her up, she was recovering from breast surgery and is still battling cancer wanted to lift her spirits...Instead we get kicked out, I had been looking around and had two rolls of ribbon on hand when I tried to go into the garage to look a gentleman told me i had to set the ribbon on the table before going in and i did. When i go to the lady to ask for pricing she wanted 16 dollars for each roll of ribbon and I told her i didn't want them. She then said you have to buy them you put them on the table and theres a sign that says you have to buy once you set your items on the table. I was trying to explain that the gentleman told me to put them there and that i did NOT go around and see the sign that said that but she would not listen she simply kicked us out. I was honestly going to pay but felt like i was being robbed and tricked into buying something i didn't want , 16 dollars for ribbon never ever have i paid that much for some basic ribbon. DO NOT GO TO HER ESTATE SALES OR BUY FROM HER SHE IS A MEAN MEAN WOMAN she ruined what was supposed to be a fun easy day. Below is her response “Next time you are out with a sick relative perhaps follow the golden rule and treat others the way you want to be treated and you might have a good day. Every single other person there was having a lovely time....” more

Extremely Rude and Unpleasant Owner/Check Out Clerk 7/21/2019

I have shopped many of Jennifer's sales in the past and have always been pleased. However, that all ended today. We had selected a chair, some knick knacky things, and had taken a painting off the wall. As we were standing in line, another painting caught my eye so my husband and I went over to look at it. Still carrying the first painting of Old Ironsides. We decided to get the other painting instead, took it off the wall, and put Old Ironsides back where the other painting had been. Jennifer (the cashier that people are talking about) first said something about us rearranging the paintings and then proceeded to say we had purchased the other painting because we had put it on the "sold" table. Old Ironsides had never left my husband's hands so we told her that that was not true. She then called my husband a liar and proceeded to throw us out of the sale. I offered to purchase both paintings and she still insisted that we leave. The HPD rent a cop threatened to call the police and have me arrested for trespassing. He asked me to step out and I said I would step out to speak with him. When I did, he shut the door in my face. We came home, roused my 18 year old son out of bed (the chair was for his dorm room), and drove back to the sale so he could go in without me and buy the chair. When he came down to pay for it, she would not sell it to him and told him that she was smarter than his whole family put together. He apologized and headed toward the door when she called after him to say that "By the way, your father is a liar". My son proceeded to return to her table, tell her she knew nothing about his father, and pushed her table over. She is psychotic. I was at the same sale for three hours yesterday and had a wonderful conversation with her. more

HORRIBLE UNETHICAL CHEATING WOMAN 2/23/2019

The woman running the Margie Beegle Sales AKA "Jennifer" is a cheating unethical woman. She does no give you an itemized receipt. She does a manual calculation on a cell phone and asks you to pay the total price that she calculated. She overcharged me on a recent sale by more than 5 dollars. After I paid her the incorrect amount I realized I was overcharged, so I asked her to recheck her calculation. She asked me to leave her sale as she never makes a mistake. If you go to one of her sales make sure she gives you an ITEMIZED RECEIPT. She is a cheat ! more

crazy Lady 7/10/2017

I had the misfortune of meeting Margie Beegle at a sale in Seabrook. My wife and myself go to a lot estate sale this is the only one that I have seen the person running the sale run people off and not let them buy the item they wanted. Mrs. Margie "crazy Lady" Beegle was telling some little old man what he was doing wrong when I got there we did not think much of it but later I heard her tell this nice woman that she had to leave and could not buy anything. I found a few items that I liked I sat them down by the check out and help a lady care a table out to her car and on my return was told I did not read the sign. I told the crazy lady that I was ready to check she told the police officer that I could not read the signs so I could not buy anything and had to go. The poor police officer apologized to me as we left. What every you do please don't hire the crazy woman. more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! 7/9/2017

I will never go back to one of her sales. She wasn't rude to me personally, but she yelled at and harassed six other customers when I was there (including an elderly man). I was only there 15 minutes! I will NEVER support her business. Vile woman. more

this woman needs to be stopped. I am amazed of the number of consumers that have been insulted and humiliated by the nasty woman. I was one of her victims today. Is there anything you can do to stop her? There has to be some legal way to make her pay for what she is doing to unsuspecting consumers. more

Don't buy from this Business, Very Rude, Unkind, Poor Customer Service 10/6/2015

Jennifer Beegle, the lady running these Estate Sales is the most rude, uncaring, unprofessional and inconsiderate person that I’ve ever met in Houston. During a Estate Sale last weekend, there was a 70 years old man trying to pay at the cashier. Jennifer Beegle was the cashier. He dropped something on the floor, tried to pick it up, and then he couldn't stand up by himself. He was on four legs and tried to use the table next to him as a support. Ms. Jennifer Beegle, instead of helping him out or asking someone else to assistance him, yielded multiple times at the old man forbidding him to touch the table. A young gentleman, who was also waiting to pay, offered him help and the senior man was able to stand up. The young gentleman asked Ms. Jennifer to be more considerate, and she instead, continued to be rude. She yielded at him that she had a law degree, and that she is liable for anything that happens in the house. She then kicked the young man out of the house. You can have all the degrees and accomplishment that you want in life, but those don’t make you more human being than others. Being considerate, caring and compassionate will last longer and will get you further in life. I see there are lots of bad reviews about this company. Customer service is definitely poor. Ironically, they even say they are compassionate on their website. Who knows why Ms. Jennifer Beegle is so mean. But behaviors like this are not what society needs to grow into the future. I just hope that when the time comes for her to need some help, there is someone around her kind enough to help her out and teach her a good lesson of life. more

This company & the owners are horrible. It's amazing they stay in business with how many of the same complaints I've been reading. I asked the cashier a simple question about the garage & was treated as if I had insulted her. After sending an email complaint to the company about the cashier, I received a threat in reply. Turns out the cashier was Margie. After advancing my complaint of the harrassingly poor customer service, I then receive a severely altered story of the facts & threat of a lawsuit claiming slander. All I have to say is stay away from this company! more

I do not recommend 11/21/2014

It takes no more than googling "Jennifer Beegle Houston" to read everything you need to know about this business. The proprietor is actually Margie's daughter Jennifer and this woman does not have a single sale without an incident due to her abusive and rude behavior. She cusses out customers for asking simple questions. She personally called me an idiot for asking if I could bring my 7 week old sleeping infant inside the house in a papoose... A simple "no, its against our policy" would have sufficed... instead she told me to get off "her" property. When my wife emailed to complain to (who we thought was the boss) the email we received back called me an idiot. I do not recommend this company at all. more

I had a terrible experience with this company, the woman name"Jenifer" she is nasty and rude, has no morals or respect for others, she thinks she is beyond anybody, she treats people like thieves and if you decide not to buy a silly thing that cost$10.00 but yet you are spending hundreds, she will scream and trown a tantrum. She will humiliate you and make a big scene. Beware of this lady she is disrespectful and nasty. more

nastiest salesperson ever 4/15/2013

the girl that runs these sales is jennifer beegle-- ths is by far the nastiest, most childish person in sales i have ever come across. DO NOT BELIEVE any of the five star reviews- they are probably written by people in her camp. look around the internet and you will find personal stories all related how disgusting this person is. my experience was no different. she yelled at me when i asked the price of an item, then yelled at me to hurry up and decide. most of the items are not priced, you have to bring it to the register and wait in the checkout line to have it priced--- THEN, she sizes you up to decide how much you'd pay, and gives you the price. by then, you are standing at the front of the line trying to decide whether you want this item, and she yells at you to hurry up. i am not the only one who experienced this--- i witnessed her try to humiliate a woman who tried to haggle on the price of something. the customer was being completely pleasant about it, but jennifer goes on a rampage and throws a fit and makes her leave. from what i've read around the web, this is her normal behavior. i only wish i looked her up before going to the sale. there are other estate sale runners in houston. AVOID MARGIE BEEGLE--- trust me, you do not want your afternoon ruined by them. more
