This is a response to Eddy P. \r
Mr. Eddy sent his wife in to initiate work to his brother in laws BMW. The vehicle was towed in with numerous pieces already removed from the engine and placed in the trunk. Eagle explained to his wife that because the engine was in pieces, it would be impossible to determine what the cause of failure is or the extent of the damage due to the many parts that were previously removed from the vehicle. The customer stated that the vehicle had overheated so therefore it was explained that Eagle would first remove the heads and have them magnifluxed to see if they were damaged from the said overheating. This service was quoted at $600.00 due to the extreme amount of labor necessary to remove the heads. It was explained to the customer that this charge is only for the removal and nothing else, however, the fee would go towards any repairs necessary. After this service was performed Eagle contacted the customer and invited them to the facility to view the damage to the engine. It was explained that the block and heads were both damaged and they were given their options. At this point, the customer (Mrs. Eddy P.) mysteriously dropped out of the picture and now Eagle was dealing with the younger brother, the husband and the grandfather. All three of these men threatened Eagle if we did not release the vehicle without a charge. Mr. Eddy P. expressed that if eagle did not release his vehicle at no charge that he would go on a posting vendetta (as he has done) in order to harm Eagle's business. We at Eagle feel that these folk's were simply trying to pull a SCAM by having the wife initiate the whole situation and then they would jump in and cry foul. Obviously this is simply a scam and we at Eagle will not give in to these threats or extortions. We at eagle would be happy to share any information concerning this. We at Eagle have maintained an A +_ rating with the BBB for years and are also members in good standing with the Chamber of Commerce.
