I have shopped at this store since it opened and have felt that it was a great new addition to our community. \r But I like to purchase in bulk, I put portions of my grocery items in freezer as this chore is not one I like to do often. Yet twice I have been told that a meat product I wish to purchase could not be sliced in the deli because it was from the meat dept,and therefore was cross contamination even though it was not a raw meat but a log of Bologna, It's NOT this stores policy to do this,If the store had a slicer in the meat dept it would slice it, WHO wants there cooked meat sliced in the same space with raw meat, NOW that is cross contamination. And the deli manager was rude and informed me that she had gotten into trouble when she had done it for me before.Its all about the dollar, they want your money but their customer service skills are lacking considerably. In todays economy people will start to rely on buying in bulk. I left my full cart and told them I would buy elsewhere, where there is better customer service. I have never had this experiance in any other store in Dawsonville so I can go anywhere for my shopping needs. True Food Lion was closer, But I'll make the drive for better customer service. They truly need a store overhaul in their management area. more
