I have eaten at Tippy Canoe many times. The prices have gotten higher, however, the food isn't always worth the price. I have continued to go because I like the location and I like to help local businesses.
I will never go back to Tippy Canoe again, though.
I emailed the email address onthe Tippy Canoe website for events. I am getting married in June and I thought this would be a nice place for my rehearsal dinner. There is enough space and it is close to my venue.
After almost two weeks of waiting for a response, I finally called the restaurant. I spoke with a girl who told me that email address goes directly to Shirley herself, the owner. She took down my name, phone number, and email address and told me she would make sure Shirley got back to me.
This was days ago. I have not received a single email or phone call.
Apparently Shirley's Tippy Canoe, although empty everytime I drive by, is doing so well that my business isn't worth her time. I feel sorry for the servers who will loose money due to their owners awful customer service and business practices.
