Got out of work early yesterday and was totally craving chocolate. No better place than Max Brenner. Such a fun atmosphere where everyone is happy for the obvious reason: they are eating chocolate. So I thought that it would be fairly quiet at 5:15 given that it is the summer time, but I was totally wrong. The place was jammed packed. I was expecting all dessert options, but was surprised to see that they have a fairly large menu. I ordered the veggie conscious burger with mushrooms and was pleasantly surprised. The waffle fries were awesome, they were dusted in chili powder and what looked like chocolate powder. So yummy. I had the Cookie Shake and all I can say is OMG! That was the highlight of my day. I finished up my meal with a chocolate cookie. I couldn't resist it. Not too adventurous yesterday, but totally satiated.
