Getting hit with a >$2K bill was an unpleasant surprise. 1. No warning had been given. 2. The bill was not itemized. 3. Your receptionist was both friendly and helpful when it came to connecting me with an insurer, but I have no idea what information was shared with them, and as a result have no assurance that HIPAA guidelines were followed. I am sure you appreciate that this is a significant and legitimate concern.
