Builders Heating installed our radiant heating and did a great job. It was as promised and functions exactly as promised. The price issue came up when they came out to address our boiler not working. The service rep quickly identified the problem and said he could replace it in about an hour for $650. i agreed to the work but was disappointed when i later looked up the price for the part on-line and noted that it only cost about $150, which means I paid $500 per hour for him to install it. When I asked about it, the response was that they charge a flat rate for that repair and the rate is $650, no matter how long the install takes. So it seems to me that the flat rates that the firm charges may be high. But the work was good.
