I have been to Barrington Oaks in Elk River once, and once was all I could handle.The receptionist was incredibly rude and demeaning as I asked questions concerning my cat. Needless to say, I never brought any of my pets there again. A few years later my two dogs managed to break free from our kids while they were in the backyard, I immediately started looking and within a 1/2 hour found out they had been brought over to Barrington Oaks. I went to get my dogs approximately 45 minutes after losing them and the same receptionist was working she treated me like I was some terrible pet owner actually made a comment about how some people should not have pets! What? I was charged boarding fees for both pets and Barrington's charge for having the pets-$200! When I questioned the fees the receptionist stated that when people cannot care for their pets Barrington can not be held responsible! I will never set foot in that place again!
