I hired Dontavia White from xxclusive events approximately 10 months before my event. Her responsibility as an event planner was to ensure that my event ran smoothly. Especially when she was paid by me to do so! Well, it didn't! She has a problem with time management and separating personal problems from work! The night of my event, Dontavia and her very unprofessional assistant decorated the hall in a very rushed fashion and disappeared! She didn't make sure that I or my party had everything that was needed for the night. I didn't have enough of utensils, plates, cups, etc. She damaged a personal photo needed for the decor and never reimbursed me for that! The hall could've been decorated much better than what it was also! I could've saved my money and done a better job myself!!!!!She did make sure though, that her and the assistant had enough time to stand out in front of the hall and eat my food before they TOOK OFF!!!!!!! What event planner; after being paid, takes off while the client parks and never returns until the events over? I have yet to receive any of the receipts of the purchases that were made by her with MY $! Every time I asked her for them, there were 100's of excuses! Can you say UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRELIABLE AND THEIF!!!!!!! BEWARE OF THIS SO CALLED EVENT PLANNER!!!!!!!!! Wouldn't recommend to a soul!!!!!!!!!!!! REALLY,NO STARS ARE DESERVED!!!!!!!!!!
