Many of my most fun memories are from this bar. I know you must be thinking "how sad!"
Not really.
I first went to this bar when I was 21. I was very young and coming into my own.
I really do believe that if I had never been to this bar..I would have never moved to San Francisco.
Its a dance bar. Its also a great environment to have fun. They are so accepting of everyone. It doesnt matter about your race, sexual identity, gender or general appearance. Everyone is welcome.
I have been to hundreds of bars and this is the one that I rate them against.
The best nights to go are Fridays and Saturdays. They usually have a drag show and its so much fun. The crowd is mostly str8 on Saturdays. Lots of Str8 couples go out and watch the drag show and then dance on saturday nights.
The drinks prices are so sweet. You can get a pitcher of beer for $5. Yes...$5. You wont find those prices in San Francisco. Or Nashville for that matter.
The bartenders are great too. They are so great about getting to you quickly and the bar is always packed. You can check out the country bar in the back too. You can usually get drinks faster b/c the crowd isn't as heavy.
Around 1 am is when the bar becomes a club and you can start dancing. My best friend and I would go crazy dancing with the great lighting and sound system.
If you live in the Chattanooga area or visiting...I highly recommend you stop by and have a drink.
