First I have to thank city search for leading me in the right direction. I have been looking and searching for a salon near my house, I live in Downey and came across Urban Roots Salon form reading the reviews on city search. I am 33 years old and have never colored my hair ever. So I came and saw Krissy, who is very bubbly, and has years behind her belt, she made me feel very comfortable and she really listened to my needs, I came out of the salon looking like a victoria's secret model, my hair was colored a beautiful chocloate brown, and she kept my hair long , but added a bunch of layers. When I went to work the next day, everyone kept telling me how great my hair looked. Oh and the products they used look very european. I bought shampoo and conditioner from Davines and my hair feels, and smells like fresh laundry.. anyhow thanks Krissy and the rest of the friendly staff at Urban Roots for making my year, I will be back and can't wait to see what she will do next. A+.
