The service at Goleta Valley Optical used to be great, but things have changed recently. In July 2010, they took 8 days to make a pair of glasses they had promised in 3-5 days. Then, when the glasses were stolen in September 2010, they took THREE WEEKS to replace them again after promising 3-5 days. I believe the manager is well-intentioned and competent but there are new employees who don't sufficiently respect their customers and understand that they are dealing with what is essentially medical equipment.
