I have lived in SF for quite a while and was reluctant to go to the Supperclub, thinking it was more of a tourist attraction. I finally took the plunge for a friend's b-day and for the most part am glad I did. I was fairly impressed with the food, but not blown away. What I didn't appreciate was the lack luster entertainment. It was a bit of a slow weeknight and they had some tired old queen dressed in a bunny suit prancing around and being surly. It seemed like they dragged her out of an AA meeting to fill a vacant spot when they couldn't get any real entertainment for the evening. I don't know what the regular entertainment is like but if I were to go back again, it would most definitely be on a weekend.
Pros: Food was good and maitre'd was adorable
Cons: Sorry excuse for entertainment
