This Market Basket have cashiers that lick their fingers to make change and separate the plastic bags from the holder. Then they handle your food! This is disgusting and unsanitary and management seems not to care. They are getting a bad reputation for this in Portsmouth and people are starting to shop elsewhere. These days with swine flu and various other communicable diseases make this practice particularly gross! Who wants a cashier's saliva on their food?
