I have been going to Cascade Springs with my friends for over two years now and have yet to have one bad experience. The Columbian?s food review from March?09 and the KPTV/Fox?s recommendation as the ?place to eat in Vancouver? are both framed and hanging at the entrance. The food is very good yet reasonable priced, the live music is fantastic and the service is good (although when the house is packed they could use more help). On our last visit I had the New York steak dinner. The steak was cut from the strip by Chef Arron and charbroiled perfectly to medium rare. The fresh, in season vegetables were saut?ed in a garlic/olive oil mixture and had a little crunch when eaten. The baked potato was served in the aluminum foil that it was baked in (not microwaved). The beef soup was made from the leftover prime rib from the night before and it was fantastic, and the service left me without a want. $14.95 for the dinner, $3.75 for the wine split of Robert Modvia Cabernet and no cover charge for the music and dancing made this place the best of values. Of course, I?ll be back!
