I have been a loyal customer at 'Cure since I discovered it in October 2008, and it is amazing. Not only are the owners wonderful Brooklyn entrepreneurs (support local business!) but they offer a wonderful service to a spa-starved neighbourhood. It is usually pretty easy to get an appointment (although walk-ins usually get through quickly as well), and once you do that, they are very punctual. Every customer is offered a cup of tea or water to sip on during their service, and the technicians are attentive and friendly - has a great neighbourhood feel. It caught my eye at first because it looks very chic and clean, but it has kept me coming back because their results are undeniably professional and beautiful. I get everything done here now - waxing, mani/pedis, facials. All services are tailored to your needs and you really feel like the focus is on you. \r

Big plus - almost painless bikini wax. I got a facial, and my face was glowing for days! They also have a range of products from some local jewelry designers and other businesses on sale as well (got all my Christmas presents here, to rave reviews).\r

While the prices here might be a little higher than the other choices nearby, the service, atmosphere and results are without rival. Definitely worth shelling out a few extra dollars. Also, they have deals during the week ($30 mani/pedi). I spend most of my time trekking to and from Manhattan, so it's nice to know that I have somewhere to pamper myself on the weekends on this side of the bridge (that's one less train ride and a lot less stress)\r
