In February of 2008, I hired Mike to tile my master bathroom. I gave him a check for $1797 to buy the required tile. In June of 2008, I called him to let him know I was ready to start the job. I called many times and he never called me back. I came to find that he had ordered the tile, but never paid for it. I had to pay for the tile and hire someone to do the work. I gave him a chance to pay it back with labor in November of 2009. I knew he needed money, so I told him to work nights and weekends, I did not care. I asked him to complete the job in three weeks. Lo and behold, I come home and the job is 25% complete and once again he won't return my calls.
Do not hire him. You will very unhappy.
