I have been to estate sales held by just about every estate sale company that has operated in Houston over the last 20 years. One of my favorite places to shop (for myself and for resale) is a Beegle estate sale. I feel compelled to express my opinion about this after having read some of the other ?less than kind"" posts made here. The Beegle sales have been my favorite estate sales for years now. They do a great job of corresponding with their customers about upcoming sales. The staff is knowledgeable, hard working, honest and pleasant. Conducting an estate sale is a big responsibility. The Beegle?s job is to get the best possible prices for the owner of the estate. However, the sale takes place over a very limited time (1 to 3 days) and that offers a very small window of opportunity to accomplish this. This is what gives shoppers an opportunity to get good deals on antique & vintage items! The thrill of the hunt and the adrenaline rush must be what makes some shoppers insensitive to a few ""rules? that are essential to the success of an estate sale for both buyer and seller. Be respectful of the items for sale and the staff and mind your manners. It will not go unnoticed and it will greatly improve your shopping experience. Even though I shop a lot, I don?t spend a lot of money. It makes no difference to the Beegles. Their success relies on hundreds of buyers like me who buy just a little bit?as well as the ?big guns? who spend a lot?and they know it. They always remember me and take good care of me. I think they are top notch and I highly recommend them to conduct a professionally run sale and for great shopping!\r
