I am from Madrid and all I can say about Cuerno is that everytime I go there, I feel homesick. The menu reminds me of Spain and home cooking. It has a lot of Mediterranean and catalan flavour. You can find a good selection of main dishes from the Spanish cuisine; the fabada asturiana is excellent, the boquerones are superb and the croquetas are really good. The only dish that I am not crazy about is the tortilla with truffle. If you want to try the real ""jamon serrano iberico"" this is the only place in Atlanta where you can get it, forget about procciutto or the jamon Navidul at Krog's bar. One of my favorite dishes is the fideua, you can find the taste the same Fideua in any coastal town in Spain, but for much more money. \r
I have read some reviews of people complaining about its fischy taste. Well, Fideua is made with fish and if you like fish, it just tastes wonderful!!!\r
Let's talk about paella now. Some people who are not from Spain think that paella is cooked with yellow rice (kind of basmati one) and a couple of sprawns (without the heads).. Well, that's not the case, unless you eat paella in a restaurant with a tourist clientele.\r
In Spain, we have all type of paellas; some are cooked with veggies, others with chicken, and with seafood.\r
In Cuerno, you can taste different paellas. They are all very good. My favorites are called ''Arroz Negro"" and ""Arroz Caldoso."" (The arroz caldoso is very similar to a soupy rissotto.)\r
I like the paellas at Cuerno so much that when I don't feel like cooking, I go there to have a good and tasty paella.\r
\r
Desserts: they have an awesome crema catalana; the torrijas look more like a brownie, but they taste good.\r
\r
Wines: One recommendation - never ask for cava in a porron; they have wonderful moscatel (sweet dessert) called Casta Diva.\r
\r
Buen provecho!\r
