I really enjoyed my experience at Selah Salon and Lounge. I recently moved to the White Plains area, and needed to find a new salon. After seeing this place on Citysearch, I decided to give it a try. Maria cut and hilighted my hair, and I think it turned out to be one of the best hair cuts ever! It came out very chic, but with an edge to it, which I thought was awesome. This was also the first place that I've been to that will actually give you samples of product, rather than making you purchase something right off the bat.
They become a lounge in the evening, which I thought was a cool concept (the lounge is to open in November). They also sell vintage clothes and have theme nights. The owner says that they even have a psychic come in.
I'm just excited that I found a fun place to get my hair done!
