We ate at Genia's several weeks ago. I have eaten there prior to the current chef so obviously the previous review was written by a friend of the last chef that screamed obscenities while we dined. We loved the trout and the steak, however, I'd have preferred a little more ""french"" to the sauces than broth and we so enjoy looking for fabulous desserts which they do not have in abundance. The chef came out of the kitchen and talked to the patrons which everyone enjoyed and she was really interested in what they'd like to see on the menu. The wines were perfectly pared and the presentation very nice. We are looking forward to the veranda opening up to offer a light and airy atmosphere and the chef bringing fresh summer foods to the table
Pros: The food, wines and chef
Cons: fairly dark colors, servers
