We were there on a busy Friday night and had a good time. The place is a bit loud, but overall good. We started with the homemade potato chips with the warm blue cheese dip, which was real nice. The dip was pretty addicting. We also had the peel and eat shrimp, which I was surprised was a hot dish. ( heat-hot) If it said it on the menu, I missed it.
We both had the rib sampler platter which we ended up having packed up to take home we had so much and were saving room for dessert. I highly recommend the macaroni and cheese, it was delish. Best thing of the evening. Neither of us particularly cared for the cole slaw.
Dessert was the chocolate layer cake and banana cream pie. I had prearranged with the hostess that it was my husbands birthday, so they wrote his name in chocolate on the plate and put a candle in his cake. Unfortunately I was a solo in singing as a food runner dropped it off and immediately left. The banana cream pie was a little too much on what tasted like artificial banana flavor in the pie filling, but the walnuts on top were a nice addition.
Pros: The Macaroni and cheese - yummy!!
Cons: Too loud!
