Could not disagree w/ the other post more. First, it is against the law in NC to create contacts or glasses w/out a current prescription. Period. Sorry, but thems the facts buster.
Pros: Up to date state of the art medical and technological service
Cons: can think of none.... glasses etc are expensive everywhere
