I was intrigued by the concept of Red Top and thought it would be fun to take my guy pals. We arrived around 11:45a, there was no seating inside, which was not too problematic. The first red flag was that the servers didn't bother to ask if we needed a highchair, even though I so clearly had a one year old in my arms. We got the menus and as the five of us begin to order, the server informed us that they were out of bread, but they had bread for and I quote, "pizza and burgers but not for other sandwiches." After 30 minutes, the food began to arrive sporadically. Although we ordered together, we were not able to eat together. I had ordered a "soft pretzel" for my one year old. She could only eat a ? of it because it was so overcooked and was more along the lines of a Bavarian pretzel. It was so hard, I couldn?t even break it in my hands. Needless to say, I sent it back and told the girl it was inedible. No apology was given. Finally, my long awaited cheeseburger that was described as a great burger w/ tater tots arrived. To my dismay, the burger was cut in half and served on a HOT DOG bun with chips!!! I immediately returned the dish and ask that it be removed from the bill. They asked if I wanted something else, given the time constraints, I asked for a slice of pizza. When the bill came, they actually expected me to pay for the burger!!? The server told me they were willing to take one off, either the pizza or burger. I politely asked her to take off the meal I did not eat. In fact, a second girl came out, full attitude in tact and I wound up paying for the slice and pretzel. I didn't even receive an apology for the misunderstanding. The servers left coupons on our table and there they sat as we left the business. It's really too bad. We live so close to this business, we were hoping the experience would have been more positive. We've seen so many businesses flop in that complex. I definitely would not recommend to a friend.
