I had high hopes for this new entrant in the growing midtown restaurant scene. Overall it was very disappointing. \r

The space and concept of the restaurant are great. The interior is modern, if not a bit cold (literally and figuratively), but the kegs suspended over the bar in a wine-cellar manner is a nice touch. The menus are a graphic-design success, and the menu items are quite ambitious in their descriptions. Sadly, the positive parts of the experience end here. \r

The service was slow and not overly inviting - this was also on a Sunday night where things were not overly busy. The beers took longer than it should, and for a gastro ""pub"" their selection of draft beers was disappointing. The food ranged from unimpressive - the fried pickles with blue cheese ""fondue"" were tasteless - to down right inedible - the stuffed peppers were mushy and lacked any flavor. After the disappointing starters and slow beverage service, our group decided to forego a full dinner. \r

While the atmosphere is nice, and the menu is ambitious sounding, the execution is totally off. This isn't somewhere I will try again.
Pros: Interior Decor
Cons: The Food
