Was shocked to see the sign in the window of my regular spot last Thursday, but decided to check it out again this week. Was happy to see Holly's West open and crowded as usual. Come to find out it is county policy to post a ""vermin"" sign in the event of any sign of activity of any number of common household pests, no matter how minimal. Turns out the place is fine, no ""rodents"" as the previous reviewer so ignorantly surmised. Had a great time, and I like the changes they've made to the bar. The manager told me they're changing the bathrooms as well, which is probably the greatest flaw with the place. So ""bye bye Holly's West"", hardly. More like ""Welcome back Holly's West, it's good to be home again""!
Pros: Still the most fun locally, convenient, high energy, great happy hour
Cons: Bathrooms, but they're renovating
