My friend and I went to Deuce and had dinner there. Each of us got the same thing which was the striped bass on top of sticky rice. It was really good and very cheap. The decor and atmosphere were also nice. It is kind of a burger join/bar but this one also serves fancy meals.
The only 3 things that I think were the downsides are the wait, the unattentive service and the smoky smell from the kitchen. The wait was very long considering both of us ordered the same thing. We waited an hour from the time that the waitress took our order until they actually came out. I am not sure if it is intentional or not. The reason I'm saying that is because I know there are other restaurants out there that do this. But at least, those restaurants actually give you something complementary to eat while you wait.
Our waitress was not attentive enough. She did not even ask us during our meal whether we needed anything. I mean, we were dying of thirst. We had to call her up and asked for drinks. Lastly, I didn't realize until I got home when my clothes and my jacket smelled like burger, literally. I know it's from Deuce because it was the only place we went to that night. The last one is probably very minor but it's just not a nice feeling when you dress up and have dinner and when you go home you smell like somebody who just got out of a BBQ restaurant out in Memphis.
