Although I agree with an earlier post that there was an outbreak of kennel cough over the summer, this can be expected in a large kennel where if one dog gets it, all of them are likely to seeing as it is highly contagious. It's similar to a cold in humans. After reading about it, I found that kennel cough can occur in even the cleanest kennels. I respect that fact that I was warned by the staff of the illness going around late in summer. My dog has always enjoyed his stay at Applebrook and I have never encountered any problems.
