I just finished my first meal at this place after I heard good things. Those things were false. Everything I ordered was disgusting. I spent almost $30 on an entree, fried rice and appetizer and I couldn't eat a quarter of it. I can honestly say that this was the worst chinese food I've ever eaten, and I've eaten in some divey places. I was so disgusted about how bad the food was that I signed up for citysearch just to keep people from eating at this place. The ""chicken"" fried rice was bland and rubbery. The molgolian ""beef"" was far too soft and fatty and if you can believe that scezhuan can be bland, it was. The crab puffs were the best thing I had and the fried exterior was chewy and doughy instead of being light and crispy. I really can't say enough bad things about this place. I've heard that there is no good chinese food in Portland and if this place (getting a 9.1 on citysearch before I went) is any indication, I'll drive to seattle before I eat chinese in this town again. DID I SAY DISGUSTING??!??! If it was that bad going in, I can only imagine how bad it will be coming out. I've already got a gut ache. Steer clear of this place if you like good food and want to avoid stomach pain.
