so, i've been to this place 3x since they've opened, 2x with people, and once alone to get my fix. i can't get enough of this food. im new to SF and it reminds me of the good food i used to get in NYC. the portions are fine, i had 2 dishes (i was alone) and left pretty full, not sick and bloated. this isn't a texas steakhouse where u are competing to see who can eat the 50lb steak. its for people who enjoy eating food with lots of variety. this ain't no burger place. yeah they have it on the menu, but why order it. there are so many other items on the menu worth trying. the burger looks like it was added to please people who won't try anything new, or for those steak and potato people who won't eat veggies.
Pros: small plates, good food, open late
Cons: crowded bar, no reservations
