We took a helicopter tour with New York Helicopter and the quality of service was unbelievably bad.\r \r The events happened in the order as follows without any exaggeration.\r \r We were told ""it's a 20 - 30 minute wait"" which turned out to be 1 hour and 45 minutes.\r \r We paid for the 18min tour and were taken on the 12 minute tour, when we returned to the office and expressed this we were told ""no, you were in the air the correct amount of time"", then it changed to ""there may have been air restriction from a near by airport"", and ""no, there is no manager present. The staff were clearly unhappy to have to deal with the issue and just trying to get rid of us and avoid any refund.\r \r Finally they conceded that they would ask the pilot as we had a picture of take off and landing (12 minutes apart).\r \r Now frustrated as we had been there in excess of 2 hours we asked how long this would take, one of the staff who had been present from the beginning suddenly told us ""I am the manager, sit down and be patient otherwise they won't sort it out"", then turned their back and walked away, one of us persuade them so they turned them around and pushed them back into the waiting room.\r \r 20 minutes later the pilot returns confirming our story so the manager returns and refunds us and charges us the lesser amount. As we leave one of our group says to the manager we are very unhappy and would not recommend the service to which the manager yells back in front of 15 other customers ""we don't need your recommendation"".\r \r I sent a email to the company a few days later, 20 minutes later we get three prank, very abusive phone calls. We can only assume that this was the same ""manager"". I have yet to receive a response from the company and when I call they say, ""no one can help you call back tomorrow"".\r \r Not once did we receive a apology, we were treated like criminals for even saying anything. And we have also had to contact the police regarding the phone calls. Cons: worst service I have ever recieved more
