I love cafes that are great for lunch and keep on serving breakfast long after usual breakfast hours so I went in with high hopes. The place has a nice unassuming comfortable vibe and our waitress was pleasant and helpful but... the food was just average, the plates of food sort of skimpy and the price was way too high for what you get. And how about this for a supposedly low key neighborhood feel: my cobb salad was served with a side of the smallest amount of dressing I've ever seen, a spoonful maybe. I tried to make due but after eating a third of it, the salad was just dry... so I asked our waitress if I could perhaps have a little more; she happily retrieved a second small helping... and guess what? An extra charge was added to the bill. For a spoonful of extra dressing! Not very neighborly if you ask me. I could reel off at least a dozen places within driving distance that I would rather have gone to, that would have been more generous, more reasonably priced and most importantly: more delicious. Needless to say I'll go to any one of them next time.
Pros: Comfy and low key, waitress was helpful and pleasant
Cons: average food, stingy portion for too high a price
