Rudy's was the essence dive bar when the neighborhood was Hell's Kitchen. The jukebox is an eclectic mix of jazz, blues, and excellent rock & roll. You'd share the red vinyl booths with hardcore alkies, artists, folks from the 'hood, and a tourist or two. Now that it's "Clinton" and Disney bought everything, it's turned into yuppie hell. The drinks are still cheap, the beer selection awesome, and the hot dogs, while not as plentiful as they used to be, are still free. Go during the daytime for some of the old time flava.
