We have been going to Cameo for years, and watched its steady decline. This last trip has made me swear we will never go back. It started badly with the restaurant losing our reservations and then not apologizing. Then the waitress was rude. Not marginally rude, I'm talking obnoxiously rude with a - ""if you're not ready to order I cant just stand here and wait for you"" comment. Add this to the patronizing lecture in print on the table about how ""maple syrup is EXPENSIVE"" as well as the DREADFUL eggs benedict I ordered followed by the astronomical bill and I vowed to never return. How disappointing, because this has gone from being one of our all time favorite places to take people when they are visiting from out of town to an embarrasment.
