The place was charming: We stayed in the cottages and they were very nice. A large room with vaulted ceilings. (MIA: A/C.) A lot of amenities, e.g., cable, that we didn't use. A key amenity, the hot tub, which is closest to the cottages, which we did (very nice, partially canopied by ivy or wisteria). The breakfast was marginal - fruit cup, baked goods and a quiche which was gooey and unpleasant. Kudos for the pulpy fresh squeezed OJ though.
All told, I was very pleased although I found the price unreasonable for the accommodations.
I would not have been pleased with the non-cottages as they resembled barracks and were almost as overpriced.
Recommended instead: Staying at a hotel in Sonoma's main square. Definitely eat at the Girl and the Fig restaurant.
