Chez Shea has the feeling (and reputation) of a restaurant utterly confident of its place at the top of the list. But it's not entirely deserved. The food is very good but not the best in Seattle. Prices are high, yet the decor is quite plain, beyond rustic -- I don't agree that it's particularly romantic, unlike the connected Shea's Lounge which is. Service is professional but rather curt. I'll go back, but I won't hurry. Several more enjoyable restaurants are within walking distance. Strongest point, the ""neato factor"" of eating right at the Market, can be matched by nearby Place Pigalle which is better.
Pros: Quality, Creativity, Location
Cons: Atmosphere, High price
