Took my dog there and the vet had no idea what to do so decided to try first this med and then that med without any real idea of what was really needed. then they ran up the charges, for meds we never used, for meds they gave us and then told us not to use, for xrays and other fees. then they told us that they frankly weren't up to current with vet medicine or procedures and would recommend we see another vet, maybe in San Diego because "they have everything". the dog went from walking and otherwise healthy to dead within a week.
I've talked to other people in Yuma who've had similar experiences with Ironwood and all agree they'd never go back there.
There's a difference between a vet who works hard to save a sick dog but can't help it out and a vet who is just flailing about with no idea of what to do or how to do it.
Ironwoods vet killed my dog.
